Christmas Run december 2014

Christmas 2014 is only a couple of weeks away and we enjoyed our final ride of the year .... and of course , the Belgium waffles!! Start with a short run down West Mt Cotton Rd...off to Tamborine, coffee at Canungra then up the goat track to Eagle Heights on Mt Tamborine.

The weather behaved with just cloud cover whiich, after the rain we have had in SEQ over the past few weeks...we were thankful of So 15 bikes and 18 people on the ride we welcome Craig and his nice looking new Harley Street BoB.

After all the rain the landscape we passed through was brilliantly green though the temperature did drop up on the mountain.

Steve was lost for words...or at least his mouth was full of a good breakfast having arrived in from Hong Kong at 6:30am this morning,jumping on his bike to join us for a ride.. what commitment!

So as we all headed home after our short but great ride another year was drawing to an end...so many great memories, great people and of course great bikes. It was great to welcome so many new riders this year....I love this community. ... 

and lastly a big thanks to all those Band of Bikers who donated to the Angel Tree project of prison fellowship....we contributed well over $300 to buy toys for Children who has a parent in prison at this Christmas time...we look forward to welcoming the state executive director of prison fellowship, David Way to the band of bikers soon as he gets his Honda Revere on the road in 2015.
