May Ride..a cold autumn morning, beautiful blue skies and some motorcycle culture

Our great May's ride was put together by our guest planner...Leigh McQueeney and included some surprises and firsts. We awoke to a chilly autumn but beautiful crystal blue sky's.... that saw the support vehicles stay tucked in bed and some 16 bikers, a few newbies and bikes join us for a great ride in the south east.

We enjoyed Leigh's pre-ride sermon, preching the good news re safe riding is always difficult when you are a little short but Leigh worked that one out too.

Once we had all been briefed it was off to Brisbane's West-end for some bike culture and our first cup of coffee for the day at Ellaspede Motorcycles.

we enjoy  a great coffee and good conversation as we met up with a 15 or so of Leigh's rider network called "newbies" , that made over 30 bikes in the group ..biggest ever and one need lots of organising. Great to meet other bike lovers making the it a great collection of makes , models and ages.So we headed off out of the city, navigating our way out through samford village and up mount Glorious...a first for some of us.
